The Looking through the NeuroLens Course was created with the premise that accurate and effective MSK care requires integrating neural system assessment at the beginning of your interaction, not as an afterthought. This means evaluating neural system health, function, and optimization potential alongside your traditional structural assessment.

It means considering the neural system in a way you haven’t before.

Understand the neural system as an active organ system rather than a passive set of transmission wires

Consider how you optimize the function of the neural system, just as you already optimize function of the muscular and skeletal aspects of the MSK system

Practice novel manual therapy techniques that incorporate neural tissue into the reasoning and application

Improve your job satisfaction and reduce your frustration by helping you be more effective and able to handle a wider range of conditions

Become part of a community of clinicians that share the same desire to think critically and improve outcomes

  • "Gaining this knowledge genuinely feels like acquiring a clinical superpower. While I wish it had been included in my initial physiotherapy training, I’m incredibly grateful to have learned it now. I’m confident it will positively influence the outcomes of my care for the rest of my career, and I strongly believe that any healthcare provider involved in managing pain or human movement should seek training in this area. It fills a crucial gap in understanding, diagnosing and treating pain, and is essential for helping the body move and function at its best.”

  • Looking through the NeuroLens is a fantastic reminder (or introduction to the concept!) that the body does not work in silos, and should not be treated as such.

Adding this dynamic spin to more “traditional” manual therapy interventions has already unlocked the “next level” for many of my patients.

Jordan’s passion and knowledge about the subject matter are evident.

Overall, I would highly recommend this course!

  • I found the course fascinating in regards to shifting my perspective that when a patient comes in presenting with a "common" pathology but that doesn't match the signs and symptoms I expect, I have to think outside the box and connect more dots, putting my biases to the side. This is where I am happy to have the Neurolens perspective in my back pocket. It has influenced my treatment as to treating & considering neural dynamics and the potential irritation/mobilization of the nervous system as a blank canvas, a bit opposite to how manual therapy was taught to me in school and previous continuing education.

I was really impressed by how savvy & wise Jordan was - he clearly knows his anatomy, & has provided solid support for his perspective in practice.
